So i survived houseparty once again for CSB.... i must say it has a different feel... definitely smaller than what it once was... in some ways its cause for worry BUT God obviously knows what hes doing so i guess its all under control. In a way it can be a blessing because it challenges team members more to put in the hard yards rather than get too complacent with things..

It was good to catch up with people (thanks for the chats neen! :D) and to finally have a better idea of exactly what il be doing during mission... nothing worse than feeling "i know i should be doing something but what?!"
And so il finally be giving a testimony... it shouldnt be too difficult but seeing as ive never formally shared one with a large group of people it does seem a bit daunting. God willing things will go well, il have the strength and confidence to speak well and hopefully others can be encouraging also.

But yeah as someone said chivalry DID make a come back. It was awesome to serve for others by getting their meals and vice versa. Even more amusing when the guys had to stand for the girls when us women decided to leave or join a table. There were indeed some funny moments! Jingles joinging all the tables made sundays lunch eventful!! Cant see it happening for a whole week at Cowra tho. Some guys would never eat their meals while sitting otherwise!

As for venue, id have to say Winmalee did top Mountain camp... i dunno i guess i had mixed feelings abt a change of location. Weve been at katoomba for so long i guess i got to used to the place, but yeah at winmalee theres trampolines, pool tables, table tennis volleyball basketball etc u name it they have it! Even the food was tops!! The only thing they dont have is decent reception for phones. Not that it bothers me i prefer no phones. Its amazing how technology can take a hold of some. I for one was quite late in getting a phone who needs one?! It only annoys u! And theres nothing worse than someone ringing up and going "where are you?" ok so maybe its necessary if ure halfway to cowra, its the middle of the night and u were expected there at a much earlier time but yeah still... when it comes to tech stuff i just shake my head... what ever happened to the good old days?!

Anyhoo i started back at work yesterday *sigh* i so thought id have at least another day off but alas no holidays are well and truly over but hmm hehe i did get today off after all :D i guess easing into the term cant hurt! AND bonus i find out this morning im to work on a class every friday for the rest of term! YAY!! itl basically be a homework/spelling test, art and sport day! How cool is that!! So yeah i am looking forward to fridays now!

So praise God for blessing my life at the mo... i havent found anything to complain about lately and well why should i?! To top it off warmer days are here and im LOVING it! Love summer its my fave season! Sure puts me in a happy mood!!

Back from the dead...

I know i say this all the time but yeah the land of blog got left behind for a while...
I thought now would be a good time to resurrect my writing.. actually ive missed my writing it can be very therapeutic at times!!

Stuffs been happening i guess ive been sidetracked by facebook lately shame on those who got me into that in the first place!!

Finally finally FINALLY some of you will be happy to know i have succumbed and read the Princess Bride after how many yrs i hear u ask?!?! Im going to swallow my pride and say i liked it! :P THere i said it!! You may think wats the biggie? but seriously im not one to let my err romantic side get the better of me (hmm actually im not so sure abt that) but *sigh* i guess in my old age im mellowing... il let u in on a little secret folks i can be a romantic when i want to be ;)

Im not sure if i want to see the flick i often find movies ruin a good book... especially with an imagination such as my own id hate to have my imagery ruined. Eragon did that big time for me :( I loathe the movie eragon but love the book!
But yes Buttercup u make me laugh! I spose theres a bit of Buttercup in me after all .... :P Wheres my Westley tho?! Haha

Guess where im off to this weekend folks?! Cowra houseparty yet again... i was conned into going back, actually i dunno... all i know is im going. But definitely my last. Neen treasure this yrs moments!! For those who care im doing adults again. It was pretty good last year not to mention challenging in many ways. BUt yeah i think im over the kids sections. I reckon i see enough of them during school terms!

Anyhow I feel im needed somewhere else when all this is over, but where ive yet to see Gods plan... id like to do more stuff at church but wat i dunno..... create endless biblical pictures using Lego? yeah id like that but ppl would get bored.... oh well guess we'l see what happens.

You'll be surprised to hear I shed a tear or two a few weeks ago cos some dear friends got married... seems everyones doing that lately.... not quite sure how that makes me feel... and then there are some whos having kids! Kids man!! scary reallly...
