New discovery...
Well yes i have been quiet...i guess ive come to the realisation that there is much more to life than blogging :P
Anyways ive since discovered something called .. wait for it... work! :D
No im not working full time, im still doing the casual thing BUT im definitely being blessed with work every day. I think the last time i had a day off during the week was about 4 weeks ago?!?! crazy! But its been good cant complain and kids have been kind. Yes they do exist contrary to belief its just knowing where to find them!!
So ive being doing all sorts of stuff, PE teaching for infants (madness!), being a librarian, teaching all grades, being music teacher so i come home with Ipsy wipsy spider ringing in my ears as opposed to incy wincy spider! Not to mention all the other various silly songs i get to sing. Oh and ive been learning new games which are as simple as "do this, do that" seriously they are the only words i use in the game! How does that saying go.. "small things amuse small minds" definitely true in this case.
But hey it is fun to say the least and sometimes i think i seriously get paid to play! :D
And next week il be starting a block til the end of term which is awesome.
Immediately following that, theres Cru camp yet again, sometimes i think i should take a break but i knwo that when i get there il have a great time. Its so encouraging seeing young kids struggle with Gods word, trying to understand where they stand in this world, what He has in store for them and more so their enthusiasm to find out more about our Creator.
But yes that is still a few weeks away yet.
So apart from work what haev i been doing? Saw some flicks 300 and Pirates. Loved them both but then i love my action movies! :D
I will be trying something a little different later this month tho, the ballet :P yes im about as surprised as you are but hey it was an invite and like i said it is something different. Swan lake... wonder how il go watching girls prance around in tutus..... hmmm wonder whatever happened to my tutu...
A few weeks ago had an outing with bible study group, ate a spicy pie in which my tongue felt hot, fed some ferral rats, had a yummo hot chocolate with marsh's and got a cold all in one night. Thankfully the cold lasted all of 4 days and no more.
BS has been going great, doing Collosians so far so good, only done one study so far. Cant wait for more. Church also is going kewl. The music at night seems to be getting better and better if that can even be possible. Its encouraging to see a growing number of musos out the front and at times i find myself thinking should i be a part of that... is it time to put my 'shyness' aside and take up my fiddle in public... who knows. At the mo its the banner i should be focussing on. Dont worry Chris it is coming along albeit slowly ;)
But yes Genesis and Jacobs story has been giving quite a bit of food for thought lately. Sometimes one wonders when will the 'scheming' (if thats what you want to call it) end. But despite this God has a habit of sticking to his promises. Humans can whinge, scheme, and boast but His patience is def neverending. Definitely something for us to think about as we go about our daily lives.
Anyhow my fingers are just about frozen to a crisp, only about another 3 months before it can start warming up *sigh* I should move to the tropics!
