Im still alive...
Purple fluffy boots? Check
Layers of clothes? Check
Big coat to go over those layers? Check
Gloves? Check
Beanie? Hmmmm not quite that cold :P
But yea at the same tiem every year i pile on teh clothes and and comprehend how im going to survive the comign winter..... grrr and i was born in winter! No wonder i screamed my head off!
Crazily enough though i was talked into taking ice skating lessons so i do have to brave the chill every monday avo! At least im learning something, i can now go backwards.... just. i think ive had 3 lessons all up and that includes the 'test' day which wasnt really a lesson but hey i passed that last term so bring on teh harder stuff.
Sad but true theres actually a 'proper' way to fall, its the first thing they test!! My butt hurt a bit after that one and only fall and well i really see no reason to fall if u can stay upright.
Im beginning to get more involved in Sunday school stuff which im actually really enjoying. Yesterday being mothers day was a blast. Kiddies made paper flowers, cards and strawberries and bananas dipped in chocolate YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM! And yea we did get to clean out the bowl and spoons afterwards ;)
Theres also been bible study, which im really loving, praise God! Initially i wasnt sure how it would go we did seem a bit quiet, but everyone is cool with each other and we often go home with belly aches after having had a fit of laughter.
And yay a friend from church had her baby just before Easter and she is sooo gorgeous!! Doesnt do much though just sleeps, not even so much as a whimper! If only every baby was like that though i knwo i wasnt TEEHEEEE! Sorry mum :P
Durign the school hols (at least i think it was then) i met up with a friend whom i hadnt seen in ages and i really do mean ages! Must have been uni days since we last caught up in person. *sigh* ahhh the memories. But we had a ball to say the least doing random stuff and basically acting like high school kids teehee one can have more fun taht way! But sadly the following week she left to go overseas and man she is having so much fun! She'll soon be back though (woohoo) and apparantly im going to be dragged to soem manicurists. Hmm can anyone really see me in one of those places?!?! I didnt think so!
School went back and ive been working pretty much ever since. This morning got my weekly dose of excercise by walking back and forth between two sites with a bunch of year twos and to top it off it decided to rain and only half teh kids had raincoats so some tried to shelter under my umbrella which is really only made for one! While the rest were happy to be soaked to the bone, i dread to think what theyre mothers will say when they all get sick....
But thankfully its all over and im back home nice and warm i only had a half day, gotta love those. And tomorrow i get a sleep in cos its another half day but starting at 12! Now theres a work day for ya!
And after years of just doodling in my school diaries then art books and doing the occasional painting for myself, an artwork of mine is finally going to be in soemone elses house! How exciting is that, well for me it is anyway. Its actually 3 paintings and theyre for a kiddies room but cool someone else is going to appreicate my work.
Oh and nearly forgot cru camp, its on again. Pray that in wont get sick like last year!! That reminds me though still havent given forms in (Sorry Dan) well must do that this avo and with that im bidding adieu!
