Counting down the days....
Yay 2 more weeks and im free!! For one week only though *sigh*
Then its back to work ...diddums.... when will it end?!?!?!
Finished my first art "commission" for a friend whos expecting a baby next month. Paintings looked good if i say so myself but all that mattered to me was that my friends really appreciated the gift ive given them for their nursery. (ive got my fingers crossed its a boy! ;) )
Where haev my weeks gone? I don't know, i find myself working everyday and Sunday so busy with church and occasionally ice skating and saturdays catchin up with friends i havent seen in eons with some more ice skating sometimes. Mondays its yet more iceskating :P and bible study which is fantastic! Just started Nehemiah for those who are interested.
This coming Monday is last iceskating "lesson" for the term, its really a test day so hopefully i'l pass with flying colours and can move up to Novice 2.
I went to that crafty show last week and well it was ok i guess. Twas my first time you see and well i guess its alright for those who area seriously fanatic about quilting and stamping and quilting and sewing and you guessed it quilting. To be honest i think i got slightly bored after about two hours! Still i got my new cross stitch and so far im being very good by not starting till ive finished my current project!
I also got to enjoy a walk through Darling Harbour which i havent done in ages. Although a little windy and thus coolish the sun was out which made it all the more enjoyable! Then i traipsed to QVB just for a wander around the place. Ive done it hundreds of times but this time i really enjoyed it just taking in the smells, the noise, the sights. Now im not a fan of photography (so sue me Clem :P ) but i realised that Sydney really does have some pretty good photo shooting opportunities if you know where to look. Maybe its time i got meself a digital ...... then again can i really be bothered :P
Anyhoo ive been dealing with kids pulling their siblings hair, kids landing on their bottoms hard enough for them to cry, basketballs bouncing of kids heads hard enough to cause them to bite their tongues starting a bleed, kids not knowing how to spell Llama and trying to convince me it doesnt exist in the dictionary.... Need i say more?!?!
