Happenings...

Hmm thought i'd make an entry cos i have that sudden urge to type away whatever is on my mind...

Recently had Cru leaders reunion... it was great to catch up with the gang again, even if not all turned up. Enjoyed a meal of pizza and as usual the left over junk food from camp. Hmm having said that tho there is still a whole more to get through.... thats how much junk food there was!!

So how did we spend the nite?? Hmm where do i start, played a bizarre game of Donkey Kongo, il admit its not really my thing, and it doesnt help having poor hand-eye coordination :P At least some of us were smarter than others and opted for the table tennis match!!

They say card games are relatively harmless but after that nite im beginning to think somewhat differently... Uno the game EVERYONE pronounces wrong was played tho this whole deal with intercepting is beyond me, either that or my heart wasnt into that nite. Then came snap. Ok u would think snap is a very harmless game but alas my hand was bruised beyond recognition!! It stayed tender for a day or more. Remind me never to play the game with guys who get a kick out of inflicting pain on others!

Hmm so not a lot was done really just spent the majority of time lounging around chatting and basically being silly!!

Since then not much has been happening, schools have rung me and i worked. Its all been good, been to a new school so thats another to add to my list. I guess i can say ive been blessed by all this work. It isnt easy beign a casual at times. THere are days when u think when will i ever work again?? And then there are moments when u feel like u need a break. In some ways it seems like there is so much tension, you have to drag ureself up every morning even when ure not working waiting for that call. The call that more often than not never comes through so u think well ok what shall i do with my day now. Basically its almost as if u put your life on hold until the clock strikes ten and then youre free until the next morning then it begins all over again.
One thing i do know for sure is i cant see myself doing this type of work for the rest of my life, the casual i mean, i pray that a full time offer will present itself in due time!

I had a pretty good week catching up with a friend whom i havent heard from in a while. She'd been traipsing all over the uk walking on grounds her ancestors would have treaded. It is a trip i can only dream of. Though im not sure im ready to brave the colder climate!!

Tomorrow is bowling!! Woohoo!! Dont think il do much good but hey its a game!!

Hmm so much happening this month, birthdays, parties, socials, reunions, training days and a wedding to top it all off!! Aahh hopefully next month will be somewhat quieter.
